Psychometric testing and profiling can be very effective when creating a job role and trying to “test” a candidate’s real suitability for the role. We can work with you to determine what system might be good for you and how to get the most out of it whilst keeping the job seeker engaged. CS Executive has had particular success in directing the use of psychometric profiling for Operations and Commercial Director roles and is best utilised early in the selection process.

Contract Scotland is our core company and its original focus was on the supply of technical and professional staff to the construction market in Scotland. Over the last 26 years though we have diversified and added to our business model and have spread our wings to the rest of the UK and countries including Spain, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
Whilst the majority of our candidates are living in Scotland there is a large proportion seeking to relocate within the UK so for many employers we source them staff in England where they have relevant projects and offices. Conversely we have job seekers from London, Newcastle, Cardiff and so on who are working for us on a temporary basis and have introduced to local employers on a permanent basis.
Essentially our expertise is in Scotland but we can mobilise, attract and retain job seekers and employers from all over the world.

This ultimately depends what you are looking for. Sometimes we have the perfect person who is skilled, eligibility checked, referenced and immediately available at our finger tips, other times we are required to do a very detailed search to source a very specific type of person who might be in high demand and short supply. This can be very time consuming but either way we like to create a plan and work to your timescales ensuring we keep you appraised of our efforts and understand expectations. As per our general ethos, we are transparent and operate with integrity ensuring that we’ll deliver when we say we will and your consultant will keep you appraised of timescales to keep your business moving.
Sorry, no. Whilst a by-product of our service is that we have access to a number of joiners, telehandlers, brickies and groundworkers, we’d be overstating our offering if we said we could cater for your every tradesman/woman. We have a small core of proven individuals who are suitably screened and trained that we have worked with for some time and we have payrolled certain candidates where it’s been necessary for a key employer.
We welcome any worker throughout Scotland to attend our training courses which are generally the SMSTS (5 day and befresher) and First Aid at Work. Having a training provision demonstrates our commitment to ensuring training and health and safety is in date.
These courses are uniquely held in our training room in Stirling and at the weekends to prevent absence from site/duties.
The courses are conducted by an independent trainer and have received superb feedback.
