We are currently working with a privately owned Engineering Consultancy to find a new Associate Director for Civil Engineering. We are interested in hearing from both established Associate level Civil Engineers and Senior/Principal Engineers who are looking for the chance to further their careers.
This is a rare opportunity within the East of Scotland Civil Engineering market. On offer is the chance to play a key role within the leadership team of a highly respected, well run Engineering Consultancy. This is a business that places good engineering over commerce, believing that the delivery of quality service will always win out in the long run.
In addition, they are keenly aware of their wider responsibilities as a business, positively engaging with both industry and societal challenges where they can make difference - something we have seen first hand over several years in their support for our Constructing Futures initiative.
Having placed many Engineers and Technicians with them over the years this is a business we can recommend with confidence. They have fostered a positive working culture where they invest in talent, staff feel both engaged and well rewarded.
They are looking for a Civil Engineer who shares these values whilst demonstrating the expertise and ambition to be able to lead the business into the future. It is critical for them to strike this balance carefully, and as such the recruitment process will likely be a slow, delicately managed process. This is very much about making the right long term appointment as opposed to filling a gap for the short term.
To be considered you will need to be;
Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering
Be well established at Associate/Principal/Senior Engineer level within an engineering consultancy business
Expert in the design of civil infrastructure including roads and drainage for new developments
A mentor to graduates, taking an active role in their ongoing professional development
Seriously committed to delivering quality, innovative engineering solutions to clients.
Capable of delivering personalised service to clients, leading face to face meetings and identifying future business development opportunities
If this sounds of interest to you and you meet the above criteria then we would be delighted to hear from you. We appreciate that these are uncertain times and the prospect of moving jobs may be daunting in the circumstances.
