Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a part time role?

Would you like to work locally for an organisation that does great work for the local community?

Contract Scotland is working with a charitable organisation who provide a unique support service to a variety of individuals in the local area. We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their small team on an ongoing, temporary, part time basis.

You will support the Finance Officer in her role and will carry out the following tasks:
  • Payroll
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Processing expenses
  • Providing updates and information relating to the budgets
  • Additional administration as required

You will have experience in bookkeeping and will have a working knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. You will enjoy working as part of a small and friendly team and will be able to work additional hours to cover sickness and some holidays.

You will be required to work 8 hours each week which could be worked in 1 day or split over 2 days, if this suits you better. Maybe you are recently retired but would still like to take on a little work or maybe this would fit well around your childcare whilst still keeping your skills and knowledge up to date.
