Contract Scotland has an immediate requirement for an experienced Buyer to join our Glasgow based client on a 9 months fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a progressive business who continually support employee training and development. Due to continued business growth permanent opportunities may become available.

Working as part of a busy team your duties will include:

• Procuring materials for sites
• Managing plant including procurement and allocation
• Raising purchase orders through COINS
• Dealing with any invoice disputes / queries to resolution
• Continually reviewing supplier performance to ensure they deliver against criteria
• Identifying new potential new suppliers
• Liaising with site teams and dealing with any requests / queries

Previous experience as a Buyer in the construction industry is essential and a knowledge of plant management would be highly beneficial.
