Do you want to further your career within an organisation which has a proven track record of offering a strong continuity of work throughout the Scottish Building Services contracting market?

If you are from an Electrical Project Engineering background within the Building Services sector and have an interest in being responsible for the day to day project engineering over medium scale M&E installation projects, then this is a rare opportunity to become a part of one of the UK's leading M&E Building Services providers based on projects throughout Central Scotland from Glasgow to Edinburgh

This is an opportunity to join an extensive business operation which is currently experiencing a period of growth due to winning larger projects which includes a new build office facility in the Falkirk area which would be your first project for the organisation. Joining an existing diverse and passionate projects team, you'll be responsible for the full Electrical project engineering for significant M&E Building Services projects up to the value of £10mil, particularly within the healthcare, commercial, industrial and education industries over the longer term.

For this position, the successful individual will bring their technical expertise to lead the Electrical engineering function on various commercial projects for the organisation working for various public sector, main contracting and end-user clients. Finding cost effective solutions to any issues on projects and an ability to still not compromise on quality whilst fully managing a mix of direct labour as well as specialist sub-contractors is a major facet of this role. Reporting in to a Senior Project Manager, the Project Engineer would be responsible for lead the QA and commissioning on the project as well as the management and development of the project programme. Ultimately, the key to this role is the ability to liaise and work with key stakeholders at all levels in order to ensure repeat business and develop existing relationships with a range of clients, as well as driving forward a motivated site workforce and various specialist sub-contractors to ensure electrical services are installed safely and to the highest possible quality.

Perhaps you're currently working for an M&E Building Services contractor in an Electrical Project Engineer role and you are looking for a new challenge by working on larger and more complex M&E engineering projects on with a modern and dynamic contractor who have a plan of growth and development within Scotland.

At this stage, you'll need to be able to demonstrate a recent track record in electrical project engineering experience in an M&E Building Services organisation. You should have a wide and well developed commercial awareness as well as a track record on delivering on both new build and refurbishment commercial projects.

As well as a competitive salary between £35k to £45k, you can expect a benefits package which include a car allowance, private healthcare, matched pension scheme.
