Do you have experience leading a team ensuring the highest standards of health and safety requirements are met? Contract Scotland are delighted to be recruiting for one of the most reputable civil engineering companies in the UK in order to attend in the completion stages of a substation project in the Scottish Highlands.

We currently have a live requirement for a freelance Health and Safety Advisor based on site of the substation in Wick.

As the health and safety point of contact on site you will be required to fulfil the following:

• Overseeing site activity with specific oversight of safety procedures
• Reporting to site management on activity
• Compiling and completing compliance reports and site documentation
• Taking a proactive approach in working with the client counterpart to deliver project to specification

What you require:

• Proven experience as a health and safety advisor is essential
• Due to the nature of the project, previous experience in civil engineering environment is required
• CSCS and NEBOSH qualifications as a minimum

Please note that this role will fall in scope of IR35, as such this will only be paid on a PAYE basis.
