Mechanical Project Manager

Do you want to work on a fast paced, large scale Building Services installation project in Lanarkshire which will last for at least for 5 months and start on site prior to Christmas?

If you are from an Mechanical Project Management background within the Building Services sector then this is the contract or fixed-term opportunity you have been looking for! The project itself is a large scale commercial installation with an overall project value of circa £20mil which will be split into individual sections and will include some fairly complex M&E installations associated with specific regulations within the cleanroom and pharmaceutical sectors.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate extensive mechanical project management and/or project engineering experience across large scale commercial building services projects. You must be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing project programmes, managing both direct labour and specialist subcontractor as well as ensuring full operational and commercial success on projects with the support of a Quantity Surveyor.

To be considered for the role, you must have an up to date CSCS card and SMSTS qualifications. This opportunity may suit someone who is used to working on a freelance/temporary basis where a day rate of up to £275 per day is available via a ltd company. A fixed-term contract where you'd be paid on a salary basis is also available for this position which would offer an annual salary up to £50k per annum + benefits; paid on a pro-rata basis.
