QS

We're working with a national build main contractor to source a highly driven Quantity Surveyor whom is keen to progress their career to Senior QS in the next few years. Our client whom specialise in both public and private sector new build construction projects up to a value of around £15m, are looking to bring in a QS whom is looking for genuine career progression and in time, take a step forward to Senior QS and take more responsibility to assisting in the leadership of the commercial team in Scotland.

We are looking for Quantity Surveyors whom have experience in commercially delivering their own building projects within the main build contracting sector. Our client can boast a successful track record of delivering new build projects within the education, healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors in Scotland.

This role would be well suited to you if you are a QS within the main build contracting environment but feel that you may have perhaps hit the glass ceiling with your current employer. We want to speak with QS candidates that can take a step to a more senior role in a few years and are prepared to work hard to achieve that ambition. This would be a predominantly office based role with site visitations as required.

Candidates should ideally be qualified (to a minimum) with a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) and have proven experience in managing their own build projects from conception to completion. We are looking for adaptable team players whom can build strong, long term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders alike.
