Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a reputable Principle Contractor are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them on an on-going freelance basis to assist on various multi-million pound schemes in the north of Scotland. They are very well established, with a proven capability of successfully undertaking a wide variety of Civil Engineering specialising in power projects throughout the UK.

You'll be working with an experienced commercial team to assist in the delivery of these notable, prestigious projects and play a key role in ensuring the projects are delivered to the standard required.


• Preparing and issuing subcontractor documentation
• Review compensation events
• Reviewing and processing payments
• Preparation of weekly/monthly reports
• Liaising with site staff to obtain records and reconcile work claims
• Attend site meetings where required
• Perform risk and value management cost reports

What you will need (ideally)?

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or relevant discipline)
• Experience in interacting and dealing with fast paced, high volume projects
• Demonstrable experience working under NEC contracts, specifically NEC 3 option A would be advantageous.
• A background in civils projects such as cabling, windfarms and substations would be advantageous.
