Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Contract Scotland are working with one of the UK's busiest contractors, specialising in residential energy upgrade services to source a quantity surveyor for their Green Homes project.

Reporting to the project manager, the remit of the role is to financially control aspects of the contract including:-
·Reducing the exposure to risk, financially and legally
·Audit contact documents and identify any discrepancies
·Produce accurate cash flow forecasts and update accordingly
·Produce detailed cost plans for the project
·Identify work-packages and sub-contractors
·Produce and issue valuations, including cost value reconciliations within 7 days of valuation date
·Produce final account statements

Experience & Qualifications required for consideration for this role
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a main contractors Trainee/Assistant Quantity Surveyor running the financial aspect of social housing construction projects.
• Experience of frameworks and social housing projects.
• Minimum HNC in a construction related discipline
• QS degree.
