Site Engineer

Contract Scotland continue to see activity across the industry and we're delighted to bring another opportunity to the market as we assist a client in their search for a Site Engineer for works in the East of Scotland.

Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of works, they require an experienced Engineer to join them primarily working on groundworks sites. Your work will include setting out for groundworks & bulk earthworks on a variety of projects including residential works as well as larger scale commercial builds. You'll be required to be able to work at pace, covering multiple sites as needed owing to the vast workload in the client's portfolio.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Site setting out using surveying equipment
• Directly report into Project Managers and Site Agents
• Quality Assurance
• Carrying out precise works to project specifications

What do you need to apply?

• It is essential you have proven industry experience in civil engineering and construction projects. As a Site Engineer will also need to have the ability to meet deadlines, be competent in information technology, have key communication/problem solving skills and have the capability of leading a team as well as being a team player.
• Experience in using Trimble would be preferred
• AutoCAD experience preferred, however training can be provided

What is on offer?

• Salary up to £35,000
• Company Van - Please note a full driving licence is required
• Bonus scheme after 6 months employment
