Site Managers

A Principal Contractor specialising in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects in the water sector is looking to appoint a Site Manager to join their team. They are keen to hear from both experienced Site Managers and Senior Engineers looking to take their first steps into site management.

With places secured on large, term frameworks, they can offer long term job security as well as the chance to work in an experienced team who can support your development from Engineer to Site Manager level in the coming years.

Projects will be based across Scotland so you may be required to work away from home. Living away costs will be met by the business.

As Site Manager you will be responsible for;

  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget.
  • Production of risk assessments and method statements in line with HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Coordination of design information and technical specifications
  • Procurement of equipment and materials
  • Supervision of site teams and supply chain

To apply for the role you should be;

  • Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Civil Engineering
  • Experienced working within a principal contracting environment
  • Able to work in various locations across Scotland

Opportunities such as this are scarce currently with so many companies focused on the bottom line, career development has taken a back seat. This, therefore, represents an excellent opportunity for you to join a business who are well-positioned to support your development and fulfil your potential.
